I drove 100 miles for one of these chili dogs. I'd do it again. To be honest it was two. Works if art they are. Nothing fancy about them. The chili never heard of Texas. The weenie had never been to New York. There was no Rabbi involved. The bun came off the bottom shelf of the Piggly Wiggly. But it was a good quality hot dog and tasted as it oughta. Better n most. The chili is better on Thursday than it is on Monday. It doesn't have ang beans in the recipe. I suspect it's a packet of chili-o mix with about twice the meat. It rose the the wiener well and very few onions fell off. You can hold it in one hand and eat it in theee bites riding a bicycle. It's laser place that saw a good bit of the last century. It is a car hop place and you either in your car or at one of a few picnic tables. You can't go inside and there are no facilities. The owner went to Georgia Tech and has been to Oklahoma. Nice guy. Good chili dog. I've visited twice now. It's about time for another road trip.

I stopped in for a chili dog and this place has definitely seen better days. However, it is ultimately the food, so let's go from there.

The speakers were all blown out so the servers had to come to you. They were friendly and I placed my order.

For $2.50, the chili dog might seem like a good value, but the chili had beans (a big no no with hot dog chili) and the onions were not diced small.

    I cannot see myself returning.

My go to for real Cherry Dr. Pepper. Love the little mini burgers. Really like their corn dogs. Always quality food and service.

I always feel bad when I have to edit a review and bump a place down, but after many bad visits, I thought that it was time. From being overcharged for their FB specials to half cooked meat to waiting over 30 minutes for a cold order, Jerry's seems to be losing their touch. They are still the only place in the county to get a decent, real milkshake but I doubt that I will be buying much food from them again.

Daily specials are on their fbook page. Definitely check it out if your nearby, and Armstrong's BBQ down the road.
